Description: A mix of special lectures, open discussion, and individualized consultation, this course is designed for graduate students who wish to pursue serious research in the economics of religion after taking ERel 1 & 2. The basic format will be similar to that which Iannaccone has employed in his E675 seminars on religion, economics, and culture.

Additional Notes: The REC workshop is designed for "dual use". Approximately two class meetings each month will be run like standard research seminars (analogous to the PPE or Public Choice Workshop) although we'll aim for shorter presentations and more discussion than is typical. These meetings will be open to anyone, not just the enrolled students. The other class meetings will be informal, focused on student research projects, and open only to enrolled students.

Prerequisites: ERel 1 & 2 (ECON 675 & 875)
