REC 2004 is by far are largest and most ambitious conference yet, featuring almost twice as many participants and session as REC 2003, and three times those of REC 2002.  Our first second conferences featured dozens of outstanding scholars from North America, Europe, and the Middle East.  Download pdf versions of the [2002] and [2003] programs for lists of past participants, papers, and sessions, including keynote talks by Gary Becker and Deirdre McCloskey.

As in past years, the REC conference will be held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion and the Religious Research Association.  The full SSSR/RRA program includes about 100 sessions and 500 participants from across the social sciences.  For more information about the 2004 meetings, the societies and their journals, see www.sssrweb.org.
